We commit to evaluating the patient utilizing the most current scientific protocols, to assure the education and informed consent of the patient, family, and interested parties, to evaluate the advisability of transplantation, and to assess the safety of transplantation for each individual patient.
We make the same commitment to persons wishing to donate organs.
We further commit our resources and talents to enhance community awareness of transplantation and organ donation.
We believe that effective patient care results from close coordination of the Pre-Transplant Department with referring dialysis facilities and nephrologists, the hospital transplant programs, consultants and laboratories.
