The Kidney Stone Clinic at DNA was instituted for the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of kidney stone disease.  This center integrates urologic care with an evaluation of metabolic, dietary, and environmental risks responsible for stone formation.  Patients may be referred to the center by their urologist or primary care physician.  Stone Clinic physicians work with the referring physician to assess the patient's kidney stone activity and to perform a coordinated laboratory survey on a convenient, outpatient basis.  With this information, an individualized preventive program is developed.  Each patient is able to follow his or her progress in an easy-to-understand treatment plan and data format.
