Dr. Daniel S. Richey recently presented on Glomerular Filtration Rate during the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) 2016 MidWinter Conference which occurred January 22-24, 2016 at the Omni Dallas Park West Hotel in Dallas, TX. TOMA’s annual conference is attended by dedicated osteopathic professionals vitally interested in improving their practice and osteopathic medicine through the continuing education process. The TOMA conference delivers continuing medical education credits, networking with peers and new products and services in the medical marketplace.
Dr. Richey’s presentation, Glomerular Filtration Rate and Referral to Nephrology, focused on reviewing the science behind estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) equations as well as detailing an evidence based approach for referring to Nephrology.
Dr. Richey joined Dallas Nephrology Associates in 2011, is board certified in nephrology, internal medicine and hypertension, and practices at both our Fort Worth and Crowley offices.
