Dr. Tony Castillo completed medical school at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He also completed his Internship, Residency and Nephrology Fellowship at the same institution. In 1993, he completed a transplant medicine Fellowship at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and first joined DNA in 1994.  After four years in Dallas, he returned to Puerto Rico in the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan.  In 2001, he again returned to Texas and DNA.  Dr. Castillo’s primary focus of interest is kidney transplantation. His hospital practice is based primarily at Methodist Medical Center Dallas where he is the Medical Director of Kidney Transplant and is also a member of the Institutional Review Board.  Dr. Castillo is also a member of many transplant organizations.  He sees patients at our Bishop office practice location, Methodist Medical Center Dallas and Charlton Methodist Hospital.
