Dr. Arun Chandrakantan completed medical school in 1996 at the New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey.  He completed his Internship and Residency at Boston University, and completed his Nephrology Fellowship in 2001 from the same institution.  He went on to complete in 2002 a Fellowship in Transplant Nephrology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he was an Assistant Professor of Nephrology from 2002 to 2006.  He joined DNA at that time and sees patients at Baylor University Medical Center, Baylor All Saints Medical Center, and the Dallas Transplant Institute.
