Dr. Kosunarty Fa joined DNA in June of 2005 after practicing in Pennsylvania.  She received her medical degree in 1990 from the University of Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany.  She completed her internal medicine Internship and Residency at MCP Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.  She did six months of post-doctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania prior to continuing with her Nephrology Fellowship at the Hospital University of Pennsylvania.  After Fellowship she worked as an attending transplant nephrologist at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Currently she is on staff at Methodist Dallas Medical Center working with both transplant and chronic kidney disease patients.  Dr. Fa loves the study of languages and is fluent in English, German, Chinese and Indonesian.  She sees patients at our Bishop office practice location and Methodist Medical Center Hospital.
