Kim Rice, M.D.

Dr. Kim Rice
received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry (Magna
Cum Laude) from the Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia,
Arkansas and her medical degree from the University of Tennessee,
College of Medicine in Memphis in 1993. Her Internship and Residency
were completed in 1996 at Methodist Hospitals in Memphis and Dallas,
with her Nephrology Fellowship completed in 1998 at the University of
Texas Southwest Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Rice joined DNA in 1998,
and is the Medical Director of the Village II Dialysis Center.
Transplantation and transplantation research are major areas of
interest and she currently serves on the Board of the Texas Donate Life
Council. Dr. Rice recently presented data on transplantation in lupus
patients to the European Transplant Conference in Switzerland. She has
previously served in different positions on the Medical Board at Baylor
University Medical Center in Dallas, and has been recognized with Spirit
Awards at Baylor for patient care. |
