BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Ankit Mehta, MD, FASN, FACP, is a distinguished nephrologist and academic leader based in Dallas, Texas (pp. 1-2). He received his medical degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India, and completed his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center. Currently, he serves as the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Mehta is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He holds faculty positions at the TCU School of Medicine and Texas A&M Health Science Center. In private practice, he has been providing care through Dallas Nephrology Associates since 2010. He is actively engaged in clinical research as a Principal Investigator for multiple international clinical trials, focusing on rare nephrology conditions such as Fabry disease, Alport syndrome, ANCA vasculitis, and lupus nephritis. Additionally, he has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributed to several significant collaborative research studies.
