DNA physicians named 2023 D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Collin County

Dallas Nephrology Associates congratulates our two physicians, Dr. Nidhi Garg and Dr. Syed-Ali Ashgar, who were named D Magazine Best Doctors in Collin County for 2023.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Nidhi Garg joined Dallas Nephrology Associates (DNA) as a nephrologist in 2007. She currently sees patients diagnosed with kidney disease and hypertension at office practice locations in Richardson, Mesquite, and Kaufman. She also takes care of patients at several dialysis units, including Fresenius where she is a medical director, DaVita, and American Renal Associates. With dual board certifications in internal medicine and nephrology, Dr. Garg is dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive medical care for her patients. She is fluent in English and Hindi and conversational in Spanish. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, Dallas County Medical Society, Renal Physicians Association,and Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Syed-Ali Ashgar has been a vice president of Dallas Nephrology Associates (DNA) for the past five years. He joined DNA as a nephrologist in 2005 and currently sees patients diagnosed with kidney disease at in the McKinney practice location. Dr. Asghar is board certified in nephrology and has more than 30 years of experience in kidney care, chronic kidney disease (CKD) treatment, and dialysis care. He is the medical director at FMC Allen and takes care of patients at several other dialysis units, including Fresenius and DaVita. He serves on the board at Medical City McKinney Hospital and recently served as the medical director at Medical City McKinney Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Transplantation, Dallas County Medical Society, National Kidney Foundation, Renal Physicians Association, and Texas Medical Association
